NORTH SHORE AREA INFORMATION
The North Shore community consists of several suburbs which lie just north of Chicago, along Lake Michigan. Nearly all of its offerings are available within a ten-minute drive of Northfield Plaza.

Multiple dining options are scattered throughout the area including fast food, fast casual, and fine dining. Along Skokie Boulevard, just down the road to the North, sit outstanding fare such as Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, Ron of Japan, Morton's Steakhouse, and the Prarie Grass Cafe.
Shopping
The major shopping areas in Deerfield, Glenview, Highland Park, Northbrook, and Wilmette offer a mix of couture boutiques and major department store chains. The nearest enclosed mall, Northbrook Court, appears to have everything under the sun, from an AMC movie theater to Lord & Taylor to a fast food court to Brooks Brothers and is less than a five-minute drive away. If you need it, it is available in the North Shore.
